Job summary

Allied Universal in Mobeetie, TX is seeking a Part Time Security Officer to monitor and safeguard clients at a financial institution location, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a visible, reassuring presence.

This role offers flexible scheduling with weekly pay and a pay rate of $19.00 per hour; prior security experience is not required, but a high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to established protocols.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by reporting maintenance hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
