Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, building perimeters, parking areas, and access points.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation and communicate information to supervision and site representatives.
