Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Checkpoint Verification. Pay is $17.00/hour for a fixed Friday night shift, with the option to pick up extra shifts via the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program at multiple sites.

The role requires a minimum of one year of security experience and a valid driver’s license. A background check and drug screen are conducted; high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license in the job location state, with a copy provided during onboarding.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries, and maintain accurate records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Report security observations and incidents to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
