Allied Universal in Tampa, FL is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Bank Setting to provide reliable security services at a financial institution location. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with an option to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform.

The position emphasizes customer service, incident response, and patrol duties, with a pay rate of $18.49 per hour. Candidates must be 18+ and meet basic education and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, access points, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor visitor access and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
