Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Southfield, MI. This position offers flexible scheduling with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to earn more by picking up extra shifts.

You will provide front-desk security, greet visitors, verify credentials, monitor cameras and access control, and respond to incidents calmly and professionally. A high school diploma and at least one year of security experience are required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-desk security and customer service for employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Greet, screen, and direct visitors; verify identification and issue visitor credentials as assigned.
• Monitor lobby activity, alarms, cameras, and access-control systems; report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and in line with established procedures.
• Maintain front-desk logs and incident documentation.
