Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, loading areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notification protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
