Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced in Florida. The role features fixed anchor shifts with a six‑month commitment, plus the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform to grow earnings and gain experience across sites.

You will provide customer service, respond to incidents and alarms, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and document activity, all while adhering to healthcare facility protocols.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to healthcare facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity, reporting unusual activity to site leadership.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.
