Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Point Screening in Richfield, OH. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $16.75 per hour, with a schedule that includes DayTimeSat 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM at a distribution site. The position emphasizes customer service, strict access-control procedures, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents, while advancing toward potential full-time

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian activity, communicate access concerns to site contacts, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, trailer yards, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
