Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for Port Isabel, TX. You will provide customer service, monitor access, patrol assigned areas, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

Schedule includes Tue 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM, Wed 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM, and Fri 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Minimums include being 18+, HS diploma, background check, drug screen, and licensing considerations as required by law.

Qualifications

Customer service skills demonstrated in security role requirements.
Ability to monitor and report incidents according to procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving financial institution personnel, visitors, and assets.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business location, perimeter, entrances, parking areas, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unusual conditions and/or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in alignment with Allied Universal and site requirements.
