Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site policies, access protocols, and emergency response if required at a chemical/petrochemical site.
• Monitor and control entry/exit points; verify credentials; maintain access records per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unauthorized access with calm, proactive problem solving; escalate per procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, business areas, perimeters, and parking to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders; document incidents and observations.
