Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time First Aid Patrol in Johnston, Rhode Island. This role offers a flexible, dependable option for individuals seeking to supplement income or gain hands-on experience toward a full-time security career with the industry leader.

Pay rate is $20.44 per hour with a fixed anchor shift and the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
