Allied Universal in Johnston, RI is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Support to deliver reliable, on-site security services with a predictable base schedule and the opportunity to pick up extra shifts.

This role supports employees, visitors, and contractors through patrols, access control, incident response, and accurate reporting, with a pay rate of $21.50 per hour and a clear path to full-time opportunities. Flexibility and strong teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, and observed conditions, while maintaining a professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity.
