Allied Universal® in Houston, TX, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol to provide reliable security coverage with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts. The role offers steady hours at a designated site and opportunities to earn more through extra shifts while gaining hands-on experience in a major security organization.

The position requires security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work with computers/tablets.

Qualifications

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Guard card/license is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.
State, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background checks and a drug screen may be required.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report to site contacts.
Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the location and verify visitor/contractor authorization.
Observe and report conditions affecting restricted areas, traffic, deliveries, and operations.
