Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Deer Park, TX. This role offers reliable, flexible hours at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up additional shifts.

Responsibilities include access control, customer service to personnel and visitors, patrols, and responding to incidents per site procedures. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, TWIC, high school diploma, and background check.

Qualifications

• Customer service to personnel and visitors in security context.
• Experience with access control and badge procedures is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Support the protection of controlled areas by following access-control procedures and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
