Job summary

Allied Universal in Diberville, MS is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed to provide reliable, flexible hours with a fixed weekly shift and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. You will deliver customer service, conduct unarmed patrols of the retail site, report hazards, and respond calmly to incidents in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, background check, and drug screening; a valid

Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background investigation will be conducted.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements vary by state/locality; may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific policies, security-related procedures, and applicable emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate site contacts.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and other security-related duties that help deter unauthorized activity and support an orderly shopping environment.
