Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Entrance Monitor) for Cowpens, SC. You will monitor and safeguard client sites, maintain a visible security presence, and provide exceptional customer service in a logistics and distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, offices, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Observe shipping and receiving activity, report unusual conditions, and support access-control procedures for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.
