Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Unarmed at a Columbus, OH location. This position offers reliable base hours with the option to pick up extra shifts and earn more through our scheduling platform.

The role involves securing the site, guiding access, patrolling the premises, and responding to incidents while maintaining professional customer service and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Drug screen required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and assist with controlling visitor entry in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and unusual conditions through required reports and shift logs.
