Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Broomfield, CO. This role offers reliable hours at a designated site with opportunities to earn more via extra shifts.

The pay rate is $26.19 per hour and the schedule includes day-time coverage with a fixed anchor shift. Responsibilities include front-desk customer service, access control, monitoring, incident response, and maintaining security records.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk within an aerospace and defense location by following site-specific procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor visitor entry, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Operate access control, communication, and alarm-related systems in accordance with site policies; promptly report irregularities, equipment concerns, and unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, provide directions and general assistance, and support a welcoming, controlled entry environment.
