Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is recruiting a Part-Time Security Officer in Allentown, PA. You will serve clients across various industries, while delivering security procedures and emergency response as needed.

Daytime schedule includes Friday and Saturday shifts, with pay rate of $17.00 per hour. You will monitor access points, respond to incidents, conduct patrols, and maintain logs while communicating professionally with site staff.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or communications related to the facility in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations and concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and emergency responders.
