Job summary

DK Security, Inc. in Michigan is hiring a part-time Security Officer to protect client properties. You will greet visitors, monitor premises, report incidents, and maintain a professional security presence in various locations.

Required: 18+, high school diploma or GED, ability to pass a drug screen, CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or willingness), and fluent English. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour with shifts Monday–Sunday.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for 8–12 hours.
• Must be CPR, First Aid, and AED certified or willing to become certified.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: assist client staff, visitors, and coworkers with a positive, professional demeanor.
• Observe and Report: monitor for suspicious activities and incidents.
• Security Presence: maintain professional appearance and stand guard in lobbies, reception areas, and control centers.
• Patrol: perform foot and vehicle patrols as required of assigned areas.
• Access Control: prevent unauthorized entry, check IDs, and follow procedures.
• Safety: enforce site policies and report safety concerns.
• Emergency Response: assist in emergencies and relay information to emergency personnel.
• Security Liaison: communicate with client staff and site supervisor; update on client communications.
• Other duties as assigned.
