Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a mall center in Irvine, CA. This flexible role offers reliable hours with the option to pick additional shifts through our scheduling platform, helping you earn more while gaining hands-on security experience.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of security-related experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift 20+ pounds. A high school diploma is required, with licensing preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred; 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a retail center.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of common areas, storefronts, parking structures, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents and customer concerns in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas; assist with access control and report unauthorized entry.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and share relevant information with site management and emergency responders.
