Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Orange, TX to provide reliable, consistent hours at a designated site with the option to pick up additional shifts. The role supports a flexible schedule for supplemental income or advancement toward a full-time career.

Responsibilities include guarding a chemical and petrochemical facility, enforcing site policies, and calmly responding to incidents. A TSA-issued TWIC and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen may be required in accordance with law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while enforcing site policies and responding to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and access concerns following procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of facility buildings, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and document observations.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and responders.
