Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per laws.
• Drug test required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols at the healthcare location, buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns through reporting channels.
• Support a respectful, professional environment for individuals receiving care, visitors, and staff while monitoring site access.
