Job summary

Allied Universal in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Assessment to protect government facilities and serve visitors. You will monitor sites, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service while following post orders.

The role offers flexible shifts via the Claim a Shift platform, with pay at $16.43 per hour and a schedule including Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM and Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM. A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and county personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain required logs and reports, and communicate observed policy violations or maintenance concerns to site leadership.
• Support a professional environment by providing directions, answering general questions, and following post orders and Allied Universal procedures.
