Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Emergency Response in Birmingham, AL. You will protect clients across healthcare settings, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service while responding to security-related needs.

Flexible schedule with day and evening shifts under a Part Time contract. This role emphasizes patient, visitor, and staff support, incident documentation, and adherence to site-specific procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including medical emergencies and access concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly.
