Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Mc Lean, VA to protect clients across diverse industries. You will operate in a dynamic, customer-service oriented environment with a schedule you can tailor through our Claim a Shift platform.

Position offers flexible weekend shifts and a path for growth, with a pay rate of $30.05 per hour. You will perform patrols, access control, and incident reporting while maintaining a professional demeanor and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Age 21+ (armed) / 18+ (unarmed) per role.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation/reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of facilities to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor restricted access, verify visitor/ contractor authorization, and document incidents.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and emergency responders.
