Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Customer Assistance in Phoenix, AZ. This part-time role offers a $21.32 per hour pay rate and a schedule that includes Wed 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM and Fri 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM.

You will provide customer service to visitors and staff, patrol assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, background check, and possible drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted per applicable laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries calmly and document observations and actions per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to identify hazards and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management, verifying authorization as directed by site policies.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents and shift activities.
