Job summary

Allied Universal, North America\'s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer with Badge Access in Spartanburg, SC. You will monitor access points, conduct patrols, and deliver customer service at a technology and logistics site.

Shifts are on Saturdays and Sundays mornings. You can build a schedule around available shifts using our claim-a-shift platform, with training and career growth opportunities provided by a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and logistics location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
