Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Access Control Patrol Driver in Clayton, NC. You will protect clients across industries, perform access control, patrol duties, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling and customer service within a pharmaceutical site. Qualified candidates have at least one year in security, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Document observations and communicate information to Allied Universal supervision.
