Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer Access Control Patrol Driver in Clayton, NC. You will protect a pharmaceutical manufacturing location, monitor access points, perform patrols, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role is unarmed with driving responsibilities; requires valid driver's license and ability to work a set daytime schedule. Training and shift options are available through our system.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees and visitors.
• Document observations and communicate information to supervision.
