Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Control Patrol in Ventura, CA. The role includes unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, and supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.

The position pays $22.50 per hour, with a schedule that includes Daytime and overnight shifts. A valid driver's license and prior access-control experience are preferred; other requirements include a high school diploma and background check.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access, verify credentials, and maintain visitor, truck, and incident records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
• Observe and report unusual conditions and policy violations to supervision and site leadership.
