Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer in Groveport, OH. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors at a food and beverage site.

The role offers flexible scheduling with day and night shifts and opportunities to grow within a leading security company. A background check and drug screen may be required by law.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report them per procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, and perimeters.
• Monitor access to the location and verify visitor/contractor authorization as directed.
• Support adherence to site food production, sanitation, and PPE requirements.
