Securitas is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for weekend shifts in Salina, KS. The role focuses on maintaining a secure environment, patrolling premises, monitoring entrances, and delivering professional service to clients and visitors.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to our Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness values. Military or law enforcement background encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Standard computer skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security experience is a plus.
• Must interact professionally with a wide range of individuals.
• Must be able to patrol throughout shift.
• Must maintain vigilance and attention to detail.

Location: Salina, KS

Rate: $16.00/Hour

What Your Day May Look Like

• Conflict resolution and De-escalation.


• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.


• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.


• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.


• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.


• Provide detailed written witness reports.

Position Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.

• Security experience a plus.


• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.


• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.


• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
