JOCKEY is seeking a Part Time Security Officer at our Corporate location in Kenosha WI, to ensure all departments within Jockey are supported with a safe and secure facility and respond to all emergency situations.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

  • Manage the safety and security operations at the corporate office ensuring employees and visitors are communicated with in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle; watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards; monitor entrances and exits
  • Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
  • Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
  • Perform monthly inspections of emergency exit lights and fire extinguishers, ladders, walkie talkies, and doors; reporting any needed repairs to supervisor.
  • Pick up trash/debris during daily door check rounds
  • During office hours: manage the safety and security operations at the corporate office, ensuring employees and visitors are communicated with in a courteous and professional manner; permitting authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
  • During winter months: assist with shoveling and salting building entrances.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • General security knowledge desired (through work/classroom experience).
  • Ability to problem solve and react quickly to a priority or emergency situation.
  • Ability to work independently and in a professional manner with employees/contacts.

PREFERRED:

  • Advanced degree preferred.
