Securitas USA is seeking a Part Time Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment at client sites in Denver, Aurora, and Highlands Ranch, CO. The role focuses on access control, patrolling, and reporting to ensure security and safety across assigned locations.

The ideal candidate is at least 18, has a HS diploma or GED, and can work independently while staying calm under pressure. Pre-employment screening will be conducted as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises.
• Control access and patrol multiple sites as assigned (Denver, Aurora, Highlands Ranch, CO).
• Identify and report safety hazards or suspicious activity.
• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
• Utilize security technology devices during shift.
• Conduct property tours as required.

Part Time Security Officer

Primary Locations: Denver, Aurora, & Highlands Ranch, CO

Wage Range: $20.00-$22.00/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
