Job summary

The Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio is seeking a Security Screening Associate for part-time work at museum entrances, performing bag inspections and guest screening to keep visitors safe and the facility secure.

This role requires professional communication, quick decision-making, and strong customer service as you welcome guests and answer questions, with shifts covering weekdays and weekends onsite.

Qualifications

• Experience in security, public service, military, or similar roles.
• Strong observational skills, quick decision-making and problem-solving under pressure.
• Professional communication, de-escalation and customer service abilities.
• Familiarity with security systems (CCTV, alarms, magnetometers) and emergency procedures; CPR/First Aid.
• Passion for football and creating safe guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bag inspections and guest screening in accordance with established security procedures.
• Monitor entry points to ensure only authorized items enter the facility.
• Provide a welcoming and professional greeting to all guests.
• Assist guests with entry flow, directions and general questions.
• Maintain awareness, identify and respond appropriately to prohibited items or security concerns.
• Follow all safety, security and operational policies and procedures.
