Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard - Part Time FLEX in Winfield, WV. The role involves patrolling designated areas on foot or by vehicle, monitoring for security concerns, and responding to emergencies.

You’ll use our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts based on your availability and gain experience across multiple industries. Preferred candidates will have a high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or customer-owned vehicle
• Background check and drug screen per law
• No prior experience required
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed)
• Reliable and adaptable to different posts
• Able to operate radios/monitors
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Teamwork and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security concerns
• Sound alarms or summon police/fire in emergencies
• Warn violators of infractions
• Monitor entrances and exits for authorized access
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously
• Make emergency notifications as required
