Job summary

Silver Shield is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. The role requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management, and knowledge of law enforcement procedures.

The Security Officer will patrol, monitor CCTV and alarms, respond to incidents, and provide guidance during emergencies while enforcing policies and documenting events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven work experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure safety and security of the premises.

Skills:

• Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, including arrest techniques and legal rights.
• CPR certification and first aid training to provide immediate medical assistance if needed.
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to prevent theft or damage to property.
