Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Part Time Credential Verification Screener in Orlando, FL. As a Security Officer, you will screen visitors, monitor access, and provide courteous service at a government services location.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background checks and drug screening will be conducted.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, clients, and staff at a government health and family services location while screening procedures and policies are followed.
• Screen individuals and belongings using screening equipment and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Verify visitor authorization, provide directions, and maintain orderly entry and screening areas.
• Respond to incidents, disruptive behavior, and critical situations calmly following emergency procedures.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately per site requirements.
