Job summary

Allied Universal® seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Concierge in Austin, TX to provide reliable security coverage with fixed anchor shifts and options to pick up extra shifts. The role emphasizes customer service at a campus, monitoring access, and responding calmly to incidents.

The position offers a pay rate of $22.28 per hour, with a schedule including night and day shifts and a pathway to build up to full-time hours.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years armed security.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology and media campus by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations, incidents, and operational needs.
