Job summary

Allied Universal in Austin, TX is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced to provide customer service at a front desk inside a financial institution. The role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $26.00 per hour with a schedule of Day Time and occasional evenings; the position emphasizes safety, access control, incident response, and a path toward full-time opportunities while

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Subject to drug screening as allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a front desk within a financial institution.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain records.
• Answer calls, provide directions, and relay information to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following emergency procedures.
• Report suspicious behavior or policy violations to site leadership.
