Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Access Coordinator in CHINO, CA. This part-time role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to claim additional shifts to earn more, paying $18.80 per hour.

The position includes access control duties, customer service responsibilities, and opportunities to build towards a full-time schedule. Candidates must meet minimum age and education requirements and pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle records.
• Control access to restricted areas, communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
