Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Permissions Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA. You will perform access-control procedures, verify credentials, monitor entry points, respond to incidents, and maintain logs according to site policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry through credentialing, visitor management, and campus access procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with campus personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate access-related logs, incident reports, and visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, access points, and surrounding perimeter areas.
