Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking responsible Security Officers for part‑time weekend shifts (Saturday, Sunday, Monday). You will perform access control at the facility’s back lot, verify orders, inspect vehicles, monitor for theft or safety violations, and routinely patrol the site while reporting any suspicious activity.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with a valid security license, a clean driver’s record, and punctuality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; State Security Officer License required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; technical training or college education in related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a security officer preferred; attendance and punctuality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend gate and provide access control for customers entering/exiting the back lot.
• Check accuracy of orders picked up by customers.
• Thoroughly examine vehicles entering the premises and note items inside.
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions.
• Patrol property twice per shift and report suspicious activities or criminal acts.
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Request emergency personnel for high‑risk situations.

Job Skills / Requirements

Per Mar Security is looking for qualified candidates for Security Officers. The best candidates will be comfortable working independently. You are detail oriented and will have basic technology skills including the ability to operate a tablet. $17.15 per hour. Part‑Time Saturday, Sunday, Monday.

• Attend gate and provide access control for customers coming in and out of the back lot of the facility
• Check accuracy of orders picked up as customers leave the facility
• Thoroughly examine vehicles as they enter the premises and make note of existing items within vehicles
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Twice per shift, patrol property and report any suspicious activities or criminal acts
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Request emergency personnel for high‑risk situations

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED.- State Security Officer License
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.- Technical training or college education in the related field (preferred)
• Previous experience as a security officer (preferred- Attendance / Punctuality are a must
