Scholastic is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the Part Time Seasonal Afternoon Shift in Alabama. The role involves packing book fairs, assisting with inventory, and operating basic scanners.

You will help maintain clean, safe work areas and support production and packing duties during peak seasonal periods. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED (preferred), good communication, and ability to read English instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate basic scanner proficiency with minimal errors.
• Strong team player and ability to get along with co-workers.
• Good verbal/written communication, basic math, reading English documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of book fairs by packing metal cases, boxes, and displays with book and non-book products.
• Demonstrate proficiency in packing components for all cases, boxes, and displays.
• Meet minimum production, accuracy or quality standards for the work performed.
• Ensure outbound cases, boxes and displays are clean, safe and in good condition.
• Assist in processing returned book fairs by unpacking and repacking per procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure book fairs can be properly packed.
• Learn scanner proficiency for item inquiries and replenishment requests.
• Assist in picking and packing customer reorders.
• Keep work area neat, clean, and organized at all times.
• Participate in seasonal inventory production-line resets.
