Rock Outdoors in Littleton, NC is seeking a Retail Sales Associate who is passionate about outdoor activities such as paddle sports, camping, and fishing. You will deliver outstanding customer service, restock inventory, operate the cash register, and ensure merchandise is accurately prepared for the floor.

The role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays, strong communication, organization, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Rock Outdoors is looking for a Retail Sales Associate for our stores. The ideal candidate is passionate about the outdoors including paddle sports (i.e. kayaking, canoeing, SUPs) camping, and fishing, as well as educating our customers about the best gear for their next adventure!Responsibilities:Demonstrates excellent customer service standardsRestocks Inventory on Sales FloorRuns cash registerAccurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standardsMaintains organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire storeFollows all company policies and procedures, including loss prevention guidelines to deter theft.Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respectParticipates in safety awareness and maintenance of a risk-free environmentRequirements:Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including weekends and holidays; 2 - 4 weekends shifts per month is idealPossesses excellent customer service skills, communication and listening skills, ability to learn and execute the conceptPossesses strong organizational skills with attention to detailCapable of handling multiple tasks at one timeAble to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations Prolonged periods of standing and walkingCapable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodationWorks effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasksHigh school diploma or GED requiredReliable transportation is requiredRetail customer experience is idealFull Time with Benefits, Part Time, Seasonal
