Part-Time Seasonal Mosquito Spray Truck Driver

VDCI is currently hiring for a Part-Time Seasonal Mosquito Spray Truck Driver in the Payette, ID area.

What do our Mosquito Spray Truck Drivers do?

The primary purpose of this role is to operate a mosquito control spray truck safely and effectively as part of an integrated mosquito management program. Responsibilities include mosquito surveillance, preventative services, and large-scale spraying to prevent disease spread.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Spray assigned zones thoroughly as instructed.
  • Properly use GPS monitor equipment and report malfunctions.
  • Record all data accurately from each spray mission.
  • Handle chemicals according to labels and SDS.
  • Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
  • Operate equipment safely and support safety policies.
  • Work outdoors, exposed to weather, pesticides, and other hazards.
  • Lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Operate a motor vehicle safely and maintain cleanliness.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Attention to detail.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn pest control.
  • Ability to work independently after training.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Pass pre-employment background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record check.

  • Maintain necessary licenses/certificates.
