Harbour Ridge Country Club in Palm City, FL, is seeking a reliable shuttle driver to operate a van and transport employees between housing, work sites, and other routes.

This role also supports employee café operations, assists with prep and cleanup, and requires strict adherence to safety policies, pre-employment drug screening, and a professional appearance.

Applicants must maintain a valid driver’s license, demonstrate good attendance, and be able to work flexible hours.

Job Summary: Perform work in the operation of a motor vehicle to assure safe transportation of employees to and from the work site. Additionally, performs work in support of the employee café operations, to include duties directly pertaining to the prep and conclusion of employee café use. Perform other duties as assigned by management.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:Drive a van on a scheduled route to transport employees to and from their company housing, work site, and other routes assigned. Allow time for traffic, employees must arrive on time for their scheduled shifts.Check in with a manager upon arrival and departure each day.Conduct a thorough, weekly inspection to ensure that the van is in good working order and safe. Any issues on maintenance should be brought to management’s attention immediately.The van should be cleaned once a week, inside and out.When needed, fill the van with fuel. This can be done in the golf maintenance department (Food & Beverage managers will have the fuel key), if off property and in a bind, purchase gas and present receipt to management for reimbursement.Enforce and encourage compliance with company policies to employees that are being transported. This includes the use of seat belts and refraining from the use of smoking vessels and alcoholic beverages.Safety for you and your passengers is the number one priority. Drive safely and abide by all driving laws (no speeding, etc.); seat belts must be worn at all times by both the driver and passengers.Other tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis.Job Requirements include the following, but are not limited to:Conduct the day-to-day operations of the position in a business-like, ethical and professional manner.Maintain good working relationships with club members, management, and all other employees.Knowledge of the rules and regulations involved in the safe and efficient operation of automotive equipment.Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance procedures.Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.Ability to work effectively and patiently with others.Must be calm and controlled in manner and should always avoid rash driving.Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test, as well as at random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident drug and alcohol tests.Dress appropriately for position; professional manner and well groomed.Establish and maintain a clean and professional workspace.Demonstrate a record of good work attendance and reliability.Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule.Use time effectively, complete work in a timely manner.Comply with company policies and procedures as established in the Employee Handbook or as demonstrated as common practice.Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
