Job summary

Pegula Sports & Entertainment is seeking an Accounting Intern to provide administrative and basic accounting support on a seasonal, in-person basis in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on day-to-day finance tasks, including journal entry work, AR/AP support, and data analysis.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in a 2- or 4-year program (finance/accounting preferred), with strong communication, organization, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year program (finance/accounting preferred).
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Organized and detail oriented mindset is essential.
• Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information.
• Available to work 2–3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist Finance with day-to-day tasks including journal entry support, mail distribution, data pulling, and general research.
• Support AR and AP needs: track incoming payments, send invoices/payments, review vendor statements.
• Assist with data analysis and validation projects.
• Perform other projects as assigned by the Finance team.
• Be accountable for assigned work and timely completion of tasks.
