Base Pay Range

$13.85/hr - $13.85/hr

This is a part-time position responsible for processing, packaging, and stocking seafood products according to Seafood Standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage. When assigned, perform meat clerk duties as well.

Qualifications and Skills

• Personal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in training and work with the team to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
• Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and write in English. Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction, including handling money and weight measurements.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions and solve problems with concrete variables.
• Certificates & Licenses: Completion of company training including orientation, food sanitation, safety, and product knowledge.

Physical Demands

Regularly standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, and tasting/smelling. Occasionally climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Must lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds frequently. Visual requirements include close, color, and depth perception.

Work Environment

Work occurs in a cool environment (34-36°F), often wet/humid, with moving mechanical parts. Exposure to fumes, chemicals, and extreme cold is frequent. Noise level is moderate to loud.
